Push or fold trainer
Practise the short-stack decision that decides Spins, All In or Fold and the end of every tournament: all in or fold from the small blind, call or fold in the big blind. Every answer is checked against our push or fold ranges and scored.
Your score shows here after the first hand.
Everyone folds to you in the small blind. You have 10 big blinds.
How the trainer works
Each hand deals you two cards and a stack between five and fifteen big blinds. Most hands put you in the small blind with everyone folded to you, so the choice is all in or fold. The rest put you in the big blind against a small blind who has moved all in, so the choice is call or fold.
Your answer is checked against the ranges of our push or fold chart for that stack, worked out for two players without antes. Some hands sit on the edge of a range and are played only part of the time; for those, either answer counts. The score stays until you leave the page, and nothing is stored.
The spots are the ones that decide a Spin as the blinds rise, every hand at an All In or Fold table, and the end of a tournament when two players are left. With more players still to act behind you, push fewer hands than the trainer does.

Questions
What is the push or fold trainer based on?
On the ranges of our push or fold chart, worked out for two players without antes: the small blind moves all in or folds, and the big blind calls or folds.
Why does a wrong answer sometimes count as right?
Some hands sit on the edge of a range, and the ranges play them only part of the time. For those hands either answer counts, and the trainer says how often the ranges play them.
Does the trainer work for a full table?
It trains the spots where two players are left in the hand: everyone has folded to the small blind, or the small blind has moved all in against the big blind. With more players still to act, push fewer hands.
