Our WePlay review: what you get, and what to know first

A 5 minute read · Updated 30 October 2026

We play on WePlay most days, and it is the room we point to for tournaments. This is the room with WePlay's own figures and what we have seen at its tables.

What WePlay is

WePlay is a poker room that runs in the browser, and there is an app as well. The company behind it, WP Software Solutions Ltd, is licensed in Anjouan, Union of Comoros, licence ALSI-152406049. Besides poker, WePlay has a casino and a sportsbook under the same account. This review is about the poker.

It is a smaller room than the big names, and that cuts both ways. The player pool is still small, so a tournament with a guarantee can pay out more than the entries put in, and WePlay covers the difference. On the other hand there are fewer tables running than on a large network.

Money in and money out

The cashier is crypto only: USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) or Tron (TRC20), exchanged into dollars when it arrives, from $10 up to $10,000 a day. Ten dollars is small enough to try the room before you trust it with a bankroll, and the cashier lists any other token it takes.

Withdrawals have no minimum and you can ask for one at any time. Rakeback that has landed in your balance can go out with the rest. As on every crypto room, pick the same network in your wallet as in the cashier, and send a small test amount before the full one.

Rakeback and the welcome bonus

WePlay pays 30% of the rake you generate back to you, every Monday, straight into your balance. There is nothing to switch on and nothing to claim. For a player who pays $100 in rake over a week, that is $30 on Monday morning whether the week went well or badly.

New players get 200% of their first deposit as bonus cash, up to $600, when the first deposit is $50 or more. The bonus is not paid out at once. It is released in portions of 5% as you earn points by playing, and whatever has not been released when the bonus period ends is lost. So a $50 deposit with a $100 bonus is worth exactly as much as you play in that period, and the terms are on the offer page in the lobby. If you want the bonus, decide before your first deposit, because a first deposit only happens once.

The tournaments we play

The tournaments are why we are here. Our rule is simple: every tournament with a guaranteed prize pool is worth your time, because the guarantee is paid whether the field fills or not, and with a small player pool it often does not.

TournamentBuy-inGuaranteeWhat to know
The Daily Grind, three times a day$11 to $33$300 to $3,000The regular tournament; re-entry while late registration is open, no add-on
The Bounty Blitz, several times a day$16.50 to $33$500 to $4,000A progressive knockout: every player carries a bounty that grows with each knockout
The Daily Turbo, twice a day$11 ($22 on Sunday)$200 to $750A faster clock
The Rebuy Rush, three times a day$1.10 and $2.20$75 to $200Unlimited rebuys of 10,000 chips in the first hour, one add-on of 60,000 chips at the end of it
The Micro Climb, all day$1.10, $2.20, $5.50NoneSmall tournaments about every two hours
The Eliminator, Tuesday$44$5,000The knockout flagship of the week
The MidStage Rush, Wednesday$22$3,000The Wednesday special
The Predator, Thursday$33$4,000The Thursday knockout special
The Sunday Showdown$55$10,000The main event of the week
The Monthly Mystery, once a month$66$15,000A mystery bounty: every knockout draws a bounty from the pool

That is $76,325 in guaranteed prize pools a week, from WePlay's own schedule, with Sunday alone at $23,575. There are also ticket satellites every day ($1.10 for an $11 ticket, $2.20 for a $22 ticket, $3.30 for a $33 ticket) and ticket freerolls that cost nothing to enter and pay $1.10, $2.20 and $3.30 tickets, so there is a way in that starts at zero. The schedule gives its times in GMT+2; the lobby shows them in your own time zone.

In the regular tournaments you can re-enter while late registration is open, which stays open for well over an hour, and there are no rebuys and no add-ons. When registration closes, everyone plays on with the stack they have, and nobody can buy 100 big blinds at the break. The satellites, such as Win Your $11 Ticket, keep their add-ons, and for a satellite that is fine; our satellite strategy page says how to play one. The lobby shows every start time in your own time zone.

If you like small buy-ins without a long tournament, the Spins are the tip: three players, quick games, and a shot at the jackpot. You can play twenty or fifty of them in an evening, and our Spins strategy says how to play them. For the Bounty Blitz and the Rebuy Rush we have a bounty page and a rebuy page.

The cash games and the players

The cash games are fun even at small stakes. When we played NL20, the table was full of action and the game had a good flow. Many of the players are from Europe, they have money to play with, and a lot of them play loose and like to gamble. There are plenty of aggressive Norwegians among them. The pool is small but it is growing, and the experience keeps getting better.

What to know before you sign up

  • Online poker must be legal where you live, and you must be 18 or older. Read WePlay's own terms on who may play.
  • If you track your results, keep your own notes of each session. Our bankroll and variance calculators work from the figures you write down.
  • The welcome bonus is released as you play. If you do not plan to play much in the bonus period, a smaller first deposit without the bonus loses you nothing.
  • Deposit what you can afford to lose, and decide your limit before you sit down.

Who it suits

WePlay suits a player who likes tournaments with a guarantee and does not mind a smaller lobby, who wants rakeback that arrives on its own every week, and who plays in the browser. It suits a careful player too: $10 is enough to test the deposit and the withdrawal before anything else goes in. The buttons on this page carry our affiliate code; the terms you get are the same as for everyone else.
