Our Basepoker review: what you get, and what to know first

We play on Basepoker, and our club runs there. This is the room with Basepoker's own figures.

What Basepoker is

Basepoker is a poker room that runs in the browser. There is nothing to download, and it works on a computer and on a phone. The company behind it is Base Technologies Limited, licensed in Costa Rica, and the room has been open since 2024.

You get a poker room and a small casino under one account and one balance. The casino games are Basepoker's own, which it calls Originals: dice, limbo, plinko, mines, blackjack, baccarat, video poker and a few more. This review is about the poker side. If you are going to play the casino games, read how much of each bet the house keeps first; our Casino Game Helper covers that.

Money in and money out

Basepoker takes nine coins: USDT, USDC, SOL, BTC, ETH, BCH, BNB, TON and LTC. USDT goes in on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Binance Smart Chain or TON, so pick the same network in your wallet as in the cashier. The minimum deposit is $1, which is as low as we have seen.

From 4 November 2026 the room swaps every deposit into USDT and you play in USDT, whatever coin you sent. Coins already on the account convert to USDT for free on 4 December 2026. If you want to keep a balance in Bitcoin or Solana rather than in dollars, this is not the room for that.

Withdrawals go out any time, with a minimum of $10 and no fee beyond the network cost. There is one catch, and it is the welcome bonus: while any part of it is still locked, you cannot withdraw or send money to another account. More on that below.

The games

Cash games are Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. Tournaments run alongside them. Spin & Cash is the three-player jackpot format: on the day we looked, the buy-ins ran from $0.25 to $200, and the top prize listed went from $5,000 on the smallest game to $400,000 on the largest. All In or Fold is the fast format where every hand is a shove or a fold.

We do not quote traffic figures, because the number of players at the tables changes by the hour and a number from one afternoon would be wrong by the evening. Open the lobby and look.

Rakeback and ranks

Rakeback is 32% of the rake you pay on poker and 15% on the casino games, credited on every settled hand and bet. You claim it any time. That is the part that pays whether you win or lose, so for a regular player it is the number that matters most on this page.

On top of it sits a rank system, from Iron up to Diamond, built on experience points that never decay. Higher ranks pay a higher rakeback rate plus daily, weekly and monthly bonuses and a one-off bonus each time you move up. Basepoker puts the combined return at up to 80% of rake at the top rank. There is also a weekly race with a USDT prize pool that resets every Sunday at midnight UTC; you are entered on your own and paid on your own.

The welcome bonus, read closely

The headline is 100% of your first deposit, up to $2,000, on a deposit of $20 or more. Here is how it works in practice.

You switch the bonus on in the deposit window, within 30 days of signing up, and once it is on it cannot be turned off. The bonus money goes into a locked balance. It unlocks as you play with your own money: a share of the rake you pay goes towards unlocking it. Once 10% is unlocked you can claim it, and a claim pays the unlocked part in USDT at once. You can keep claiming as more unlocks.

The bonus runs 60 days from the day you switch it on, and what is still locked then is gone. While any part is locked, withdrawals and sends are blocked. You can end the bonus early from the Rewards page, which gives you your withdrawals back and forfeits whatever is still locked.

So the bonus is rakeback paid in advance, and you unlock it by paying rake. If you play a lot in those 60 days, a lot of it arrives. If you play a little, a little arrives, and your money is locked in the meantime. Decide before you switch it on, not after.

Identity and the law where you live

The first time you claim any part of the welcome bonus, Basepoker asks you to verify your phone number. It is a one-time step.

Basepoker's own terms say that users are responsible for checking the law in their own country before they play. Online poker is illegal in some countries and restricted in others, and the room does not check that for you. You must be 18 or older.

Fairness, security and support

Basepoker says its shuffle is run by a random number generator certified by iTechLabs, that the games are provably fair with player seeds you can check yourself, that player funds sit in cold storage, and that two-factor authentication is there if you turn it on. It says support is a live chat with people, around the clock, in thirteen languages. These are the room's statements; we have not audited them. Turn on two-factor authentication on the day you open the account.

Our club on Basepoker

Crypto Poker Network is our own club on Basepoker, with cash games and tournaments for the players of our sites. In Basepoker, open Clubs, search for Crypto Poker Network, club ID 881146, and join. Then join our Telegram group, where we post the games.

Who it suits

Basepoker suits a player who wants to play in the browser, with USDT, from small stakes up, and who likes rakeback that lands as you play rather than once a week. It does not suit a player who wants to hold a balance in a coin other than USDT, or who wants a bonus that can be cashed out without playing. No room gives that one.

How to start

  1. Open the account through our link, in the browser.
  2. Decide about the welcome bonus before your first deposit. It is switched on in the deposit window and cannot be switched off.
  3. Deposit USDT on the network your wallet uses, from $1. Send a small amount first.
  4. In Basepoker, open Clubs and join Crypto Poker Network, club ID 881146. Then join our Telegram group, where we post the games.
