Evernorth signs $80 million equity facility with Cantor

Evernorth Holdings, the Nasdaq-listed XRP treasury company (XRPN), signed a committed equity facility that lets it sell up to 5,218,935 Class A shares to CF Principal Investments LLC (Cantor). At XRPN's closing price on 22 October, selling all of them would raise about $80 million in gross proceeds. Evernorth says it will use the facility as market conditions allow, for general corporate purposes that include buying XRP and building products in the XRP ecosystem.

Some of the money Evernorth raises this way can go into buying more XRP for its treasury.

Ripple Treasury lets companies earn returns on RLUSD held with Ripple

Ripple announced new Ripple Treasury features at Swell 2026 in New York, including an orchestration layer that works with its GSmart AI tools to automate cash positioning, forecasting, reconciliation, liquidity and payments. A new feature called 24/7 Returns lets eligible corporate customers earn returns on qualifying digital assets held in a Ripple wallet, including RLUSD. Ripple did not give a return rate, and customers have to meet the program's requirements.

Companies that use Ripple Treasury get a way to earn a return on RLUSD they keep with Ripple, a use for the stablecoin beyond moving money.

Ripple gets final OCC approval for its national trust bank

The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency gave Ripple final approval to establish Ripple National Trust Bank, following a conditional approval in December 2025. The bank will manage the reserves behind RLUSD and act as their trustee for holders, and it is authorized to offer digital asset custody to businesses. Ripple puts RLUSD's market cap at $2.5 billion, and the stablecoin will still be issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, which is regulated by New York's financial regulator.

For RLUSD holders, the stablecoin's reserves will have federal bank supervision on top of the New York state oversight they already have.

Franklin Templeton adds $150 million of fund shares to XRP Ledger

Franklin Templeton issued about $150 million of new shares in sgBENJI, its Singapore-domiciled tokenized US dollar money market fund, on the XRP Ledger in two batches of about 72.2 million shares at $1.039 each, CoinDesk reported. All the new shares went to one wallet, which now holds nearly 193 million shares worth about $200 million and uses the same signing addresses as Franklin's issuing account. It is not clear whether the wallet is one investor or several clients, and Franklin had not answered CoinDesk's questions.

More institutional fund money now sits on the XRP Ledger, where RWA.xyz ranks Franklin second by value among tokenized asset issuers, behind Ripple's RLUSD.

XRP Ledger bug fix delayed to 4 November after validator dip

The fixCleanup3_4_0 amendment in xrpld 3.4.0 needs 29 of the 35 default trusted validators to keep supporting it for 14 days in a row. Support fell to 26 for about two hours on 21 October, which restarted the countdown and moved activation from 23 October to 14:46 UTC on 4 November. The fix closes a loophole that could, under certain conditions, let an account allowed only to burn an issuer's tokens create new ones, and it changes how the lending code marks a loan late or in default.

Token issuers wait about two weeks longer for the loophole to close, and Ripple's proposed lending system on the ledger still lacks the validator support to start its own countdown.
