Next Technology Holding plans to sell or pledge its 5,833 bitcoin

The board of Nasdaq-listed Next Technology Holding approved a plan on 30 October to sell or pledge about 5,833 BTC in batches, citing the Binance hack and the risk from quantum computers. At about $77,500 per coin the holding is worth about $452 million, against a company market value of about $7.5 million. The company said it has sold nothing yet, does not keep its bitcoin on Binance, and cannot promise that any sale will happen.

A sale of this size would be one of the larger exits by a listed bitcoin treasury company this year.
